This website https://cetaphil.mimsit.net is managed and operated by MIMS Malaysia on behalf of Galderma Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Unit 904, Level 9, Uptown One, Jalan SS21/58, Damansara Utama, 47400, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia ("Galderma", "we", "us") to offer to our website visitors (“you”, “your” or “website users”) skin disease information, as well as Cetaphil product information as patient education.

The privacy and security of your personal data is important to us. This Notice ("Notice") will explain to you in a clear and comprehensive way how and why we collect, store, use and disclose your personal information ("Personal Data"). How do we collect the data and under what legal basis?

Galderma will collect data directly from you based on your consent when you submit the survey. If you choose not to provide data, you will not be able to participate in the survey.
Subject to your additional consent, we may also provide you with special promotions through email and text messages.

What personal data do we collect and why?

Depending on your consent preferences, we only collect:

  • your contact details (full name, email address and mobile phone number)
  • your location
  • your age
  • your gender
  • your responses to our survey including any additional information you share with us

Following your subscription to receiving product information-related emails from Galderma, you are still able to unsubscribe. Should you wish to delete (unsubscribe) yourself from the mailing list, simply check on the corresponding link in the message received and we will permanently top contacting you.

With whom do we share your Personal Data

In principle, we do not share or disclose your Personal data with any third party. As an exception, we may disclose your Personal Data to other Galderma affiliates and certain third parties, acting for and on our behalf as data processors who provide us with various business services, including but not limited to: professional services, information technology services and related infrastructure, customer service, e-mail delivery. All Galderma affiliates and any third-party service providers are only permitted to use such data to the extent strictly necessary for the purpose of performing services on our behalf and in accordance with all applicable data protection legislation.

How long will we keep your Personal Data

We will keep your Personal Data only so long as we need it to provide the relevant services to you and to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. This is also the case for anyone that we share your information with and who carries out services on our behalf. When we no longer need to use your information or at your request, your Personal data will be securely and permanently disposed or rendered completely anonymous.

Please note that to the extent your data is shared with third party controllers, such as the Google or Apple platforms, such data will be retained and processed in accordance with such party’s privacy policies.

What are your data protection rights?

Please note that even during the simulation process there is human intervention.

If the request is submitted by a person other than you, without providing evidence that the request is legitimately made on your behalf, the request will be rejected, unless prohibited by law. Please note that any identification information provided to us will only be processed in accordance with, and to the extent permitted by applicable laws.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, remove, or otherwise revise portions of this Privacy Notice at any time. When we do, we will post the change(s) on the Website.
